2. The essentials

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no content from third-party servers. Fonts and scripts are stored on my own server.

I process personal data only when you write to me via the contact form or by email, and when pages are requested, which is technically necessary (server log files).

3. Hosting and server log files

The website runs on a server in Germany that I rent from netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, and operate myself. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with netcup.

When the website is accessed, the web server automatically stores: IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating system.

The purpose is to provide the website securely and reliably and to fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Log files are deleted after 14 days unless they are needed longer to investigate a specific attack.

4. Contact form and email

When you write to me, I process the details in your message (name, email address, company, project type, budget and text) in order to answer your enquiry.

The form is processed on my own server and delivered as an email to my mailbox on my own mail server in Germany. The data is not passed on to third parties.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry is aimed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering it). I delete the data once the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Encryption

The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21).

An informal email to kontakt@lohvinov.de is enough.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden.
